Operation Executive - Hire & Ins Claims

Our client is one of the leading ship owner companies. We are looking for an Operations Executive to be part of their Fleet Management Department. The candidate is responsible to manage and assist with the daily operation needs of managing the fleets.


Responsibilities:


• Responsible for Protection & Indemnity (P&I) and Hull & Machinery (H&M) Insurances matters in terms of certifications (issuance/renewals/reissuance), claims & reimbursements.

• Liaising with crew managers on the above.

• Charter Party (CP) – Maintains standard CP format for both Internal and External Charterers to be prepared and vetted by Legal department.

• Ensuring all CPs to be signed prior to engagement; maintained including main terms/addendum in the shared folder, clear of all clutters.

• All Deviations from the standard CPs to be recorded and sent for management approvals.

• Tracking of all Receivables on a monthly basis as per CP (Excel Report).

• Standard Time Charter Description to be prepared for all ships and maintained including new buildings/ takeovers.

• All TCDs to be shared with 3rd party only after written approval from Fleet Manager.

• Liaising with Charters/ Broker on owner’s Matter with regards to Off-Hire Claims, -Del / Redel, Positioning Voyages, Stevedores Damage Reports.

• Check with every vessel for their SDR log every month for month end reporting.

• Management Reports for Quarterly Exco and Budget reports, Monthly Charter Hire Variance Report, Off-Hire Days & Monthly Off-Hire Report.


Requirements:

• Recognised marine or engineering or naval architecture educational qualification. Having a seagoing

experience would be an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.

• Detailed oriented, meticulous and strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Resourceful, innovative, and independent.

• Good team player.
