KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensure all import incoming shipments is on time
- Communication on all Import requirements with internal and external customers
- Filling up the rates sheet/SOP, communicating with customer & origin for shipment activation
- Trouble shooting of all Import incoming shipment issue
- Handle pre-alert, all import documentation and uploading of documents in eDoc
- Identify areas of improvement through daily Import Operation
- Work closely with vendor management transport team to meet customer service requirement and expectation
- Keeping track and updates of Import Shipment log
- Ensure Airfreight KPI are meet.
- Prepare 8D/CAR reports.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL AND / OR TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATES
- GCE “O” Level or equivalent certification in logistic related field preferred
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
- Minimum of 2 years experiences of air operations in the airfreight industry.
- Good airfreight and air cargo knowledge.
NECESSARY TECHNICAL / FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Competent in computer skills and common applications (Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
- Strong in interpersonal communication
- Team management – ability to lead, guide, support and develop the team members
WORKING HOURS
Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm, Saturday: 9am-1pm
