As a Storage Administrator, you will work on shifts, covering two shifts Monday through Sunday and one on Mondays to Sundays. You will also work the weekends. Workdays could be staggered over the week, and some off-hour project work is required.
In your first few weeks in this Storage Operations role, you can expect to:
· Put in place measures and collect metrics and produce reports for discussion with the end user groups regarding the environment's health
· Work effectively with other infrastructure groups, including the Network, Server and Database teams
· Document critical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
· Put in place Storage procedures and follow Company procedures and processes to ensure that Audit and Regulatory requirements are met.
To apply for this Storage Administrator role, you will need around 4 years of storage administration experience in a Production environment in a medium to large company with in-depth knowledge of Veritas Netbackup, SAN, NAS and Azure Cloud. You will also require the following:
· Cloud certification - preferably Azure
· Experience with Netapp CVOs and on-prem FAS series
· Basic experience with Shell and Perl scripting, NDMP, Windows Server Administration and Unix administration
· Working experience on CISCO MDS or Brocade Director class SAN switches.
