We are seeking a Director, Strategic Sales, to drive growth of materials and components for semiconductor applications at SATFM, Singapore. The Director is responsible for working closely with SATFM senior management and creating Strategic Sales Opportunities to help grow revenue. Growth will be mostly through M&A, JV and other higher level strategic collaboration with potential targets in the semiconductor industry.
The Director will also work closely with our international team to develop semiconductor technology, and work on a variety of products and processes and contribute to significant, visible impact on the organization’s overall success.
This position is based in Singapore. Upto 50% of overseas travel may be required.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide a strategy roadmap and execution plan for achieving robust year over year growth of the company specific to semiconductor technology
- Provide a blueprint of potential products/technologies that can be adopted for market growth as a 5 year road map
- Identify and implement a strategic sales plan that can help the company grow sales multiple fold over 5 years
- Publish results to the business unit
- Represent the company in international tradeshows and conferences to attract talent and new partners
- Target specifically advanced semiconductor markets such as US, EU, UK, etc
- Hire and manage a team that can consistently execute these aggressive plans
Education & Experience
- MBA from a top tier Business School strongly preferred
- Advanced degree ( MS in Materials Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering ) and at least 20 years experience in Sales and Marketing preferred
- Experience working in or familiarity with semiconductor markets in the US/EU required
