Overview
The Project Assistant will support project managers and team members in various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in planning, organizing and executing project activities.
- Maintain project documentation and records, including project plans, schedules and status reports.
- Coordinate meetings, conference calls and appointments for project teams.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes and distribute action items to team members.
- Track project timelines, milestones and deliverables to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Communicate project updates, status reports and issues to stakeholders as needed.
- Assist in managing project budgets, expenses and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve project-related issues and risks.
- Support project teams in implementing best practices and process improvements.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in a project support or administrative role is an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with Microsoft Visio will be a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
