RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works with Electrical & Instrument Engineers and vendors contribute to Plant E&I Equipment Reliability and continuous improvement that fit for purpose for Process Improvement, with the objective to improve process/ occupational safety, improve product safety/ quality, reduce energy consumption, improve production capacity/ productivity and reduce costs.
- Support Electrical & Instrument Engineers for plant maintenance related troubleshooting and problem solving to ensure plant equipment uptime and achieve KPI set for the Maintenance department.
- Support maintenance manager to achieve KPI set in all aspect, such as Safety, Quality Productivity and provide technical support in all the aspect of plant maintenance
- Act as Maintenance Subject Matter Expert for various E& I system in Synthetic Rubber Production Process.
- Troubleshoot E&I system trouble, perform root cause analysis and propose corrective and preventive measures ensure action items fallow up close until the end.
- Ensure LT Plan updated and all document in order for Customer audit and fallow up customer audit and other audit action items fallow up till the end.
- Manage and control documents related to Instrument and Control System.
- Participate actively in HAZOP studies and fallow up action items as per process safety requirements.
- Participate in Company EHSQ program and cooperate with its promotion and improvement
- Collaborate with other departments in Management systems of AKSS such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case regime, Energy management system and ISCC plus as process engineering function
- Perform study as Maintenance Function such as NRW, MOC and as per request from other departments.
- Keep and maintain safe and health work environment
- Support in implementation and participate in the continuous improvement effort in the areas of Safety, Quality, Environment and Health Management System (for example SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OSHAS18001, IATF 16949).
- To have a legal obligation to act in a responsible manner for the safety of themselves and other persons who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
- Assist the Management in ensuring that Major Accident Hazards are reduced to As Low as Reasonably Practicable (ALARP) and escalate when necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical/ Electronic Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Systems or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) working experience in Petrochemical Industries.
- Expert in Plant Electrical, Instruments, Distributed Control System (DCS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Maintenance.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 standard (Preferred)
- Familiarity with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 and SS651
- Functional Safety System Maintenance and testing and in accordance with IEC standard requirement.
- Familiarity with Electrical installation system maintenance requirements and standard
- Able to multi-task and handle a wide spectrum of responsibilities.
