Job scope:
- Planning and organizing daily warehouse activities such as receiving, put away, order picking, proper data recording and document retention.
- Ensure efficient utilisation of warehouse space, pallet racking and resources such as forklifts/reach trucks.
- Conduct & reconcile weekly cycle counts, ensure accuracy of WMS system transactions of finished goods, raw materials & packaging items.
- Manage inventory disposals of damaged, excess and obsolescence products according to local chemical regulations.
- Overseeing staff performance, provide training and support, identify development needs, and manage relationships between shopfloor team and management to drive any changes for improvement.
- Coordinating with 3PL service providers, internal stakeholders such as production, quality, planning & customer service to ensure a smooth order management experience.
- Prepare and submit monthly KPI reports related to warehouse such as inventory & picking accuracy, space utilization, on-time receiving & resources utilization.
- Ensure compliance to all warehouse procedures, 5S, safety and audit requirements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in warehouse/logistics management or equivalent.
- Min 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in warehouse/logistics operations.
- Basic knowledge of handling chemical products.
- Possess a valid forklift & reach truck license.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.
- Experienced in inventory system like WMS or SAP would be advantageous.
