Job Purpose
- Support Risk & Compliance Manager to develop a professional risk and compliance function for Lockton Singapore in order to make our organisation, associates and clients better.
Job Description – Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support the enhancement and implementation of risk and compliance policies, systems, and processes.
- Assist to monitor and manage Lockton Singapore’s compliance with regulatory requirements under the applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures.
- Support filing of regulatory returns to the Regulator on a timely basis.
- Assist in performing periodic compliance reviews.
- Keep abreast of compliance and regulatory requirements, trends and best practices relevant to Lockton Singapore. Provide advice and support implementation of changes as required.
- Proactive in providing solutions to business issues as relevant.
Qualification and Experience
- 2-4 years prior working experience with exposure to general insurance and /or in insurance broking.
- Experience in risk and/ or compliance would be an advantage.
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) with prior experience in compliance for an insurance broker or general insurer. Legal education and/or experience would be an advantage.
