Job Description:
- Assist the Warehouse Executive in performing smooth warehouse operations, incoming and outgoing systems through the ERP system. Handle incoming and outgoing goods and inventory.
- Maintain good housekeeping. Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the warehouse/receiving and distribution goods area at all times.
- Assist the Warehouse Executive in issuing purchase orders to secure minimum or sufficient inventory level and closely liaise with suppliers to ensure the delivery requirements. Expedite timely delivery of spare parts and goods to customers.
- Back up as Driver/Delivery in their absence. Safely transport equipment and goods to customer locations promptly, safely, and courteously.
- Maintain company lorry in good condition, keep driver logs, and conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Monitors all deliveries to customers to meet their requirements.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with freight forwarders and shipping agents for the most accurate and preferred quotes and destinations.
- Assist the Warehouse Executive in producing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and statistics on the level of inventory balance and any physical stock discrepancy to be fixed.
- Take on ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE āNā Levels.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operation and inventory control.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Good interpersonal and communication.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Possess a Class 3 driving license.
