- He/she shall ensure active risk management and meet all regulatory and internal compliance expectations relating to the role.
- The role requires the end-to-end support of all Markets related applications across the sales, execution, and trading domain.
- Although focusing on 1st & 2nd level support the role is expected to provided support across the horizontals as well as the depth required to enable the applications under management to be efficiently used and provide constant feedback to the team for improvement.
- The incumbent shall also build highly effective relationships across the financial institutions to maintain and improve knowledge of the business and its latest products and services to optimise service to clients.
- Escalate and track issues raised with the Agile squad with regular updates to users
- Propose bug fixes and enhancements to improve quality of application and user experience
- Participate and take ownership where appropriate of all testing requirements relating to change that impact applications under management
- Support management with any regulatory and management reports.
- Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant higher educational and professional background with 2-6 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a Financial institiutions.
- Experience of technology stack used in a typical client server architecture, e.g Java, JavaEE, and web (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc)
- Experience in database design with confidence to write scripts and complex sql queries
- Experience in application support/ Software Engineer role Or Developers willing to learn with good knowledge of Java, Unix, SQL
- Experience in programming languages such as JAVA/J2EE.
- Experience in Unix commands , Oracle PL/SQL queries or Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge in oracle Cloud.
- Solid experience of providing global support across locations and stakeholders within the finance industry
- Experience with testing applications as part of a release management process within anAgile framework
- Some understanding of financial products and order management flows
- Good understanding of development life cycles such as Agile Methodology
- Experience with risk, trading and order management systems would be highly desirable
