To improve communication between Japan Vendor / UMT and USP, including design review, project management, vendor management, USP Engineering Standard Creation, modification, support spare parts management and maintenance works.
Job Description
- Information sharing between UMT and USP
- Look for Qualify new vendors, conduct audit for existing vendors and compare different vendors for quality and cost control.
- Responsible to liaise with the local or oversea vendors to discuss relevant materials, negotiate new equipment/parts purchasing, local and Japan vendors auditing & etc.
- Prepare and conduct design review with UMT and USP related sections.
- Responsible to communication with oversea or local vendor for project management, project related budget control, project quality, safety and schedule control.
- Translate UMTES in Japanese into English and create the USP Engineering Standard
- Understand process and existing equipment and propose modifications to resolve current problems, including process and equipment improvement.
- Responsible to support TES to resolve equipment problem and conduct shooting skill improvement.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Study or work experience in Japan
- Good understand for Japanese working culture
- Proficiency in Japanese language is essential to liaise with our vendors in Japan
- Digital control systems and PLC-related troubleshooting knowledge.
- Proficiency in Computer literacy
- A team player who is strong problem-solving, analytical skills, self-disciplined, able to carry out hands-on work, Positive Working attitude, willing to learn new things
- Possess basic IOT skills
