Plan and carry out engaging lessons to nurture the holistic development of students with special needs
- Knowledge of disabilities will be an advantage (especially with hearing loss)
- Use appropriate modes of assessment to monitor student progress and implement suitable instructional support
- Work with allied professionals to develop student-centered IEP goals and intervention plans
- Develop appropriate behaviour management plans for student behaviour, as and when necessary
- Provide a safe and stimulating educational environment to ensure the well-being of students
- Collaborate closely with parents / caregivers in monitoring learning progress and pastoral care needs of students
- Plan and conduct CCAs and enrichment activities as assigned
- Manage classroom-related administrative tasks
- Good team player with personal initiative.
