Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities:
The scope of duties and responsibilities will generally involve supporting the tender functions of the company locally. Besides tenders, the scope also include the prequalification exercises and quotations.
· Vet through and interpret drawings, specifications, soil reports etc.
· Attend and prepare site visit reports.
· Act as point of contact and facilitate between Tenders and External Consultants.
· Be accountable in preparing technical proposals for tenders including master program, method statement, resources allocation charts, traffic/utilities diversion plans, risks identification & mitigation plans etc as per tender requirements.
· Prepare and present technical proposals during tender interviews.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in either Civil / Railway Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
· Possess 5 years of engineering experience.
· Experience in tendering for projects will be at an added advantage.
· Experience in LTA / MRT projects, with Main Contractor of similar scale and complexity will be at an added advantage.
· Must be skilled in writing Method Statement, Site Utilization Plan, Project Management Plan etc.
· Must be able to converse very well in English Language.
· Able to converse in Chinese as needed to liaise with China HQ associate.
· Excellent communication and coordination skills.
· Organised, meticulous and good team player.
· Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for a senior role.
