Position Overview:
Halo Microelectronics, a developer of Analog and Mixed Signal Intergrated Circuits enabling energy-efficient smart systems is looking for experienced Layout Engineer to join the Singapore Design Team.
Responsibilties:
- Work closely with Design Team from chip planning to tap-out.
- Discuss with IC designers on the preferred device placement, device matching requirements, ESD and signal routing concerns.
- Configure foundry DRC/LVS rules and perform physical verification on completed layout such as DRC, LVS, ERC, Antenna, Density, ESD, LUP, EM, IR, etc.
- Run layout parasitic extraction in preparation for postlayout simulation and optimization.
- Ensure on-time delivery and high quality of layout design.
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Degree in Electronics Engineer or equivalent.
- Must have strong knowledge in analog layout verification flow (i.e. DRC, ERC, LVS, ANT etc) and usage of CAD layout verification tools such as Cadence, Mentor Graphics tools.
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and demonstrates strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Good team player.
