Wee Swee Teow LLP invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to join the firm as Practice Trainee or Relevant Legal Trainee. The objective is to provide our trainees with supervised training in relation to the practice of Singapore law so as to prepare them for admission to the Singapore Bar.
Trainees working under our lawyers will learn different aspects of work in various areas of practice such as dispute resolution, corporate or real estate. Competencies that trainees acquire will be in the following areas:
- Client care and management
- Legal drafting
- Conducting legal research
- Case and transaction management
- Negotiation
- Professional etiquette and conduct
While assisting on actual cases, trainees will also be exposed to the practical side of legal practice.
Applicants must :
(a) be either Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents; and
(b) have graduated or graduating from local universities or foreign institutions; or
(c) graduated earlier from the above institutions and completed National Service.
