Functional Relationships with: Yishun and Tuas Manufacturing Division, ASEAN sales and administration Division.
Position Profile
Based in : Singapore
The successful candidate will:
The successful candidate will explore (with focus but not limited) to all matters related to learning and development.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Analyse workforce learning needs
- Analyse data gathered from line managers on competencies gaps suggest training
- Incorporate profiling tools into the learning needs analysis process
- Evaluate business impact of investing in learning needs
- Prioritise learning needs based on current and future business requirements
- Co-ordinate learning programmes
- Work with business units to develop business case course content
- Update e-learning content used in internal training
- Analyse external vendors' learning course content, checking for suitability to meet training needs
- Select suitable internal and/or external trainers in consultation with business units
- Monitor budgets and grant schemes for learning programmes
- Manage physical and virtual learning platforms
- Liaise with internal trainers and external vendors for scheduling and conducting courses
- Support learning programmes delivery
- Communicate developed learning courses' schedule and objectives to employees
- Leverage the usage of technology in learning programmes
- Liaise with internal and external trainers on resources and logistical arrangements
- Analyse employee participation rates to complement overall evaluation of learning programs from Pre to Post training evaluations
- Analyse evaluation scores and effectiveness of learning programmes
- Facilitate payments to vendors
- Audit completion of mandated learning courses, and identify lapses for enhancements
Ability / Competency Required:
- Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent
- At least 2 years of working experience
- Will be required to commute between the Yishun and Tuas offices
- Excellent IT, presentation,writing and oral skills including an attention to detail and accurate reporting
- Organised and able to multitask in a customer focused environment
- Proactive, innovative, and flexible approach to work: solution focused
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, employing high level of team work and liaison skills
- A commitment to engage, understand, and promote Company’s values, vision and mission whilst safeguarding best practice
