Responsibilities:
- Analyse project/business needs and necessary technical requirements, activities and employees, monitor planning continuously and take corrective measures if necessary.
- Coordinate the different technical activities (conceptual design, built, mobilisation, commission, maintenance and repair) in own focus area.
- Ensure conceptual, basic and detailed design is executed according to needs defined and in accordance with compliance regulations.
- Monitor technical performance of asset, analyse and evaluate technical deficiencies, make suggestions for maintenance, repair and improvement (ensure and monitor implementation).
- Organise permanent maintenance, carry out repairs of technical assets, prepare repair specifications, organise and ensure follow-up of execution, coordinate and support (ongoing and planned) maintenance, repairs and investment projects, take corrective measures if necessary.
- Have relevant expertise in the technical field, keep up with relevant developments in the own area and related areas of expertise and contribute to the (technical) field by developing new, state of the art knowledge and exchanging knowledge with colleagues.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications/Higher Education/Degree/Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
- With minimum 12 years of relevant work experience
- Meticulous, organised and attentive to details in the midst of a fast-paced environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel and IT skills
