About the job
[Base compensation package: up to SGD65,000/per annum]
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial closing, preparing regulatory reports, and generating monthly analyses. Review reconciliation reports for various accounts, handle daily accounting entries, and manage client transactions. Provide financial guidance to management, draft financial statements, and liaise with auditors and tax consultants. Drive process improvements, maintain internal controls, and assist in system implementations. Undertake additional projects as assigned by management.
Skills and experience required
- A degree in accounting/finance, and/or hold professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
- At least 3 years of accounting experience in financial services/fintech or Big 4 auditors whose client portfolio is in financial services.
- You are proficient in both English and Mandarin, as you will need to communicate with Chinese counterparts who can speak in their native language, and with proficiency in Excel (including lookups, pivot tables, and conditional formulas).
- Due to business needs, you are comfortable to work on alternative Saturdays.
