Job Descriptions:
- Assist Operations Managers in day-to-day operational tasks for clients within the assigned region.
- Receive and process shipment information from clients, including invoices, HAWB, PL, datasheets, etc.
- Track shipments through various web pages (DHL, FedEx, UPS), agents, or direct contact with other offices.
- Coordinate phone calls with agents to resolve issues if needed.
- Perform data entry, create shipments, and upload shipment information to the company’s operative system.
- Gather and save documents related to shipments in files and the internal system.
- Keep information updated in internal system, including fees for shipments.
- Maintain updated files.
- Provide reports as per Ops Manager requests regarding shipment status or any matter.
- Maintain regular communication with agents within the region and other company regional offices.
- Prepare regular reports according to client-specific needs.
- Input and maintain accurate data in internal system & Basecamp (internal Global IT systems) following corporate policies and procedures.
- Escalate to Ops Manager for any situation/issues that cannot be resolved directly or require strategic guidance/decision.
- Support in the preparation of Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Prepare reports as requested by Ops or Regional Manager.
- Engage in administrative and operational activities based on company needs.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum experience 1 to 2 years on similar positions.
- Computer skills: Email (Outlook), Microsoft Office
