Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Temenos Payments Hub Functional Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in functional testing of Temenos Payments Hub and possess a deep understanding of payment systems, including SEPA, SIC, Instant Payment, and ISO20022 standards. The role requires a hands-on professional with a proven track record in ensuring the quality and reliability of payment systems through comprehensive testing methodologies.
1. Functional Testing:
- Conduct end-to-end functional testing of Temenos Payments Hub, ensuring all modules and features meet specified requirements.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, focusing on payment workflows and functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and contribute to the design of effective test scenarios.
2. Payments Expertise:
- Demonstrate expertise in various payment systems, including but not limited to SEPA, SIC, eSIC, Instant Payment, and ISO20022 standards.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on an in-depth understanding of payment processes and industry best practices.
3. Defect Management:
- Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Utilize Confluence to maintain comprehensive documentation related to defects and their resolutions.
4. Regression Testing:
- Execute regression testing to ensure the stability of the Temenos Payments Hub across multiple releases.
- Develop automated test scripts where applicable to enhance efficiency in regression testing processes.
5. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide testing support.
- Participate in regular meetings and discussions to share testing insights and contribute to the overall improvement of system performance.
Additional Skills:
- Proficient in using JIRA and Confluence for test case management, defect tracking, and documentation.
- Strong capabilities in defect handling, including thorough analysis, documentation, and collaboration with development teams.
- Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently to facilitate quick resolution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in functional testing of Temenos Payments Hub.
- Strong expertise in SEPA, SIC, eSIC, Instant Payment, and ISO20022 standards.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes, especially JIRA.
- Experience with Confluence for documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications in payments or testing methodologies are a plus.
