About the Role:
Based in Singapore and covering the Philippines market, you will be instrumental in leasing of vacant spaces, business development; sourcing new building acquisitions/land development opportunities for EQT Exeter.
With a strong network within the industrial/logistics/warehouse market, you will develop trustworthy relationships with the brokerage community. You will prospect and keep current on all tenant prospects in the market to secure leases, fill vacancies and renewals in the portfolio.
You will also form professional relationships with senior real estate executives of corporations to effect build-to-suit and sales/leaseback opportunities. You will formulate and execute strategies to enhance the value of industrial/logistics real estate assets.
As a strong negotiator with a proven track record of success, you will diligently pursue build-to-suit and buy-to-suit opportunities in service to prospective tenants and tenant rep brokers.
As a good team player, you will work with investment analysts to underwrite acquisitions and lease transactions. You will also assist the finance teams in their preparations of quarterly valuations and portfolio analysis.
Experience and Skills:
- At least 8 years of related experience in leasing, business development, acquisitions and/or asset management within an industrial/logistics sector.
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business administrative.
- Proven success in completing lease transactions including renewals, sub-leasing, pre-terminations, expansions and unexpected vacancies
- Flexibility to travel as required to perform responsibilities including attending regional and national events.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage relationships with brokers and leasing companies.
- Possess strong network with local authorities and businesses.
- High integrity, drive and intellectual curiosity are a must, with the ability to maintain balance and a rational perspective in all circumstances.
