Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible to lead the teams of production operators and technicians to meet daily production targets, schedule and quality standard.
• Plan workflow on the production teams and achieve the production target / Work closely with production planner to meet the on time shipments schedule.
• Draw up duty roster for operators and technicians; allocating work and plan & authorize the overtime accordingly.
• Work with various departments / engineering group in cross functional efforts to resolve the production related issues.
• Compilation and monitor the monthly production OEE and wastage report.
• Analyses and determine the production losses & high wastage causes, and ensure that the necessary corrective / preventive action is taken when necessary.
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process and quality system.
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Ensure the effective communication between shifts / Ensure the safety standard and GMP practices is followed strictly.
• Motivate and guide the operators and technicians, maintain discipline and manage their performance appraisals.
• Responsible for safety, department housekeeping & security management of the production floor / Identify the training programs for new technician, etc,
Job Requirements:
• Diploma, Degree with at least 5 years relevant working experience in similar capacity
• Good exposures in Manufacturing Processes and Handling Working Team
• Analytical and use data to continuously improve processes / understand manufacturing methods, best practises, etc.
