Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all Treaty Statement of Accounts from Brokers/Cedants are furnished and booked on a timely and accurate basis
- Handle Treaty Technical accounts(both Inwards and Outwards):
- Prop Treaty: Checking/booking SOA, Estimates Premium, Profit Commission, Sliding Scale Commission and Cash Calls. Maintaining Outstanding Loss Reserves. Follow up on Cash Calls refunds.
- Non Prop Treaty: Checking/booking MDP, Estimates Premium, Premium Adjustment and Reinstatement Premium
- Handle Treaty Credit Control
- Premium and Claims collection/payment. Monitor outstanding ageing balances for brokers/cedants. Allocate receipts and payments in the system.
- Coordinates with underwriters on policy terms (when necessary)
- Coordinates with claims handlers on claim payables (when necessary
- Any other projects / duties assigned
Requirement:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting/Finance or related field or equivalent
- Minimum 3years Treaty accounts experiences in the reinsurance industry
- Knowledge of Treaty Technical Accounting, familiar with Reinsurance regulatory reporting framework
- General Insurance certified preferred
