Job Description:
- Primarily responsible for Accounts Payables & Accounts Receivables namely processing and posting of invoices as well as their payments/receipts.
- Maintains and updates the AP & AR Ledger, ensures reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers to GL
- Assists in prepayment/accrual etc postings into General Ledger
- Responsible for cashflow projections to ensure sufficient working capital is maintained and/or that excess cash be used for Fixed deposit placements/cash available for distributions to pool participants every month
- Preparation of weekly AR aging, cashflow reports and other monthly/ad hoc reports
- Preparation of schedules for the purpose of month-end close and audits
- Assists in Company secretarial, bank administration and KYC matters
Job Requirements:
- Min Diploma
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience and experience in preparation for full sets of Accounts
- Good oral communication skills and good writing skills
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Excellent inter-personal skills and is a team player
- Experience in shipping industry will be an advantage
