Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Handle the daily operations of Finance & Accounting Department including maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting.
- Develop more efficient and accurate work procedure by utilizing workflow system and RPA solutions.
- Handle monthly / quarterly closing of financial records and posting of month end information; ensures accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and month end closings.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements such as Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets of company and its branch offices and subsidiaries for Management & Headquarters.
- Complete quarterly reporting of consolidation packages (SAP-FC) within the deadline
Overseas Entities
- In charge of accounting matters related to overseas entities such as accounting / tax (incl. transfer pricing) / internal audit / work procedure
- Proposing and maintain proper accounting methods, policies and principles to ensure overseas entities are operating efficiently & effectively
- Proposing solution for accounting and tax issues on overseas entities
- Traveling to overseas entities required
Audit
- Manage both internal & external Audits for company and overseas entities with counterparts and auditors.
Tax Affairs
- Liaise and work closely with the tax agent and relevant local authority in order to ensure the company’s tax filing comply the requirements from government including transfer pricing.
Qualification:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- SAP knowledge
- SG GAAP and IFRS knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of financial accounting, tax accounting and cost management
