Role Overview
This role will be focused on presales and design of Global Managed Services. This role is about expertise in Managed Services including ITIL processes, monitoring and complex service models working with an ecosystem of partners. This is a key role which will be Customer-facing and will have key input to our future direction for services. Essential criteria
- Customer-facing experience in a Service Design role including presales, Managed Service frameworks, commercial and contract expertise
- Bid Management - can take the lead on presales opportunities with strategic approach to service models, response content, commercials, identifying and mitigating risks from opportunity qualification through negotiation
- Able to articulate customer’s requirement and mapping business requirement to NCR Atleos’s offering and providing appropriate solution through consultative discussions
- Good understanding of Telco industry and solution – 4G/5G, Wireless, Microware, Optical network management
- Strong understanding of Professional Services, Managed Service and ITIL concepts
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Cisco Hardware and Services (SmarNet, PSS)
- Travel is approximately 25% of the role but may vary
- Experience with using Cisco CCW and creating BoM (Bill of Materials) for both hardware and services.
- Good understanding of Networking solutions (Wireless LAN, Unified Communications, Cisco and other Tier 1 OEMs (Fortinet, Velocloud, etc), Remote Monitoring & Management, Maintenance, and Deployments)
- Good understanding of Cloud (SDN, NFV, AWS), Data Center, Mobility, Collaboration, and IoT concepts with an interest in market trends
- Knowledge in Security solutions
- Strong Communication, engagement and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
- Experience designing Global or multi-region services
- Experience of working with an ecosystem of partners to build an overall Managed Services model
- Experience in working contract documents including master agreements, adoption agreements and service levels
- Ability to explain the value of Managed Services to a Customer
- Experience working on deals in excess of $1million with multiple technology and service layers
- Experience working with multiple subject matter experts to bring together service and technical components
- Competent in creating and negotiating Statements of Work.
- Deliver a well-defined set of service design documents in a timely manner presenting an end-to-end seamless service
- Support strong qualification of opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations about what we can deliver
- Experience on service cost models and creating innovative commercials to drive competitive advantage
- Support producing new content including design templates, proposal documentation and presales slide materials
- Comfortable delivering solution presentations to Customers
- Strong knowledge and experience of ITIL concepts
- A “can do” and “getting things done” attitude putting the customer first
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and presentation skills
- Proficient use of Office 365 suite with expert Excel skills
Desirable criteria
- A technical and/or operations background is highly desirable
- May have one or more other industry recognized certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CCNP or those from Fortinet products
- ITIL3 certification and ISO20000 experience and/or accreditation
- Experience with ISO27001 or similar security accreditation
- Experience working in the APAC market
