Job Description:
• Coordination with Utility agencies such as Gas, PUB, SPPG Power EHT, HT & LV
• Review, plan and schedule site activities for diversion work.
• Selection and management of sub-contractors for diversion services.
• Management of document submission and obtaining of approvals from the relevant authorities for diversion works such as NCE
• Coordination with Authorities for the diversion of traffic during relocation of utility services
• Liaise with construction/technical team for making proposal for support and protection of services during active construction period.
• Carry out periodical site inspection during construction period in order to ensure the works near the utility services are proceeding according to agreed procedure and also ensuring utility marker are in place to prevent from utility damage occurring on site.
• Liaise with construction/design team for making proposal for reinstatement of services and coordinate with relevant utility agencies for reinstatement work.
• Regular updates to client (LTA) pertaining to daily utility site activities and diversion schedule.
• Generate daily and weekly utility reports for client and internal organization
• Cross check design drawing and utility corridor to ensure utilities services and future structure are not clashing with each other.
• Involve in the road and junction diversion.
• Liaise with LTA Traffic Management Sub-contractor on shifting the road furniture such as Street lighting, and traffic lights.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in the construction industry and at least 2 years of experience in the coordination with utility agencies for projects of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
- Preferably with a tertiary education in engineering or its equivalent.
- Able to work as a team, assertive, independent, and proactive.
- Proficiency in basic code compliance and construction sequence of work is an added advantage.
- LTA experience will be prefered.
