Roles and Responsibilities
Position: R&D Mechanical Engineer
Location: West
Salary range: S$ 3,500.00 – 4,000.00
Industry Sector: Renewable Energy
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build and validate prototypes, fixtures, tools and cell components
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes
- Meet design requirements via iterative process, collaborating with team members
- Direct involvement in prototyping designs and processes
- Develop SOPs and safety protocols for new laboratory processes

- Engineering degree in Mechanical or similar field
- Some experience in basic electrical engineering knowledge or experience is desirable
- Experience in using computer-aided design (AutoCAD or similar experience is a must)
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, problem solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment and adapt to changing project needs.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and results to the team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
- Experience with electrolysers, battery, or energy storage systems is desirable
Ability to think critically and an execution/results-oriented mindset Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively work independently and within a small, dynamic team.
