As an L3 Software Engineer at Synthesis, you will help architect, build, and deploy in-house data analytics applications, ranging from plugins to large-scale distributed systems. This helps our data scientists & cultural strategists to deliver robust consumer insights and decision frameworks to marketing professionals. You will also help provide technical leadership to the business and drive innovation. If you love building data-intensive applications and solving business problems, come join our team!
We are looking for Full-Stack Software Engineers with at least 3-5 years of working experience.

You’ll need
- A solid understanding of Python with more than 3 years of experience
- A DevOps mindset - execute what you build!
- Software Architecture knowledge - Microservices, Distributed Systems, Data-Intensive Systems
- Excellent leadership skills. You’ll provide strong technical leadership, with the ability to shape decisions by the engineering and data science teams to drive performance and innovation. You’ll also play a role in shaping and implementing the company's technology strategy, ensuring that it supports the businesses long-term goals.
- Openness and enjoyment of iteratively developing your ideas. You’ll draw on the value of the diverse experience and perspectives of those around you, as you will be working in a tight-knit multidisciplinary team in an early stage development operation
Advantageous, but not required or interest in any of the following areas:
- Data Science libraries such as Pandas/Dask and Machine Learning
- DevOps/DataOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes
