ABOUT THE JOB
Navya Systems Pte. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to join our Operations department. As the Field Engineer, your main responsibility will include onsite commissioning of autonomous vehicles, conducting maintenance operations, and providing training to customers. located in the Asia Pacific Region. Your main objective will be to deliver the highest level of customer service to both domestic and international clients. Your passion for excellence and commitment to ensuring smooth operations will play a crucial role in the success of our autonomous shuttle services.
Expected 60% of onsite work with a minimum of 30% of tasks expected to take place abroad.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform onsite commissioning of autonomous vehicles, ensuring proper installation and configuration according to customer requirements.
- Conduct regular maintenance operations, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of autonomous vehicle systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Train customers on the operation, commissioning, maintenance, and safety procedures of autonomous vehicles, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to effectively utilize the technology.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers, answering their queries and addressing any concerns they may have.
- Document all activities, including commissioning, maintenance operations, and customer interactions, in detailed reports and maintain accurate records.
- Take an active role in the project phase, collaborating with internal teams and providing valuable advice and insights regarding the deployment of autonomous vehicles.
- Participate in project meetings to contribute technical expertise and offer recommendations on the best practices for successful implementation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Strong technical skills and understanding of autonomous vehicle systems, including hardware, software, and sensors.
- Fast learner and highly autonomous
- Flexibility to travel frequently to customer sites, both domestically and internationally, as required.
- Fresh graduates are welcome
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- Experience working collaboratively with team members
- Proficiency in conducting onsite commissioning and maintenance operations for autonomous vehicles
