Job Description
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will collaborate with IT and business users to ensure the integration of cybersecurity practices to maintain and improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture. You will work closely with technical teams to ensure adequate security solutions/ policies are in place throughout the system to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor information alerts and work with the relevant IT Team to handle response and remediation when a threat is found in timely manner.
- Participate in the investigation of security violations and breaches.
- Conduct research and stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats and technologies.
- Monitor, assures and reports the performance of the implemented cybersecurity controls.
- Assess and manage technical vulnerabilities of IT system
- Coordination/ collation of regular security reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) for compliance review such as:
- Access Right Review
- Privileged Activities Review
- VPN Remote access Review
- Vendor Access Review
- Develop and maintain operational process documents and guidelines.
- Facilitate in internal and external audit.
- Support project by delivering project deliverables and completing project milestones.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Equip with knowledge in networking and system technologies.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Self-driven, independent and has a sense of urgency to respond to issues and problems.
- Prior working experience in information security supporting IT security operation and compliance will have an added advantage
- Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, forensic investigation, ISO27001 and DPTM certification is a major plus.
