POSITION PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for keeping track of the goods and supplies in the warehouse and manages orders to facilitate sales or production.
DIMENSIONS
The incumbent is responsible to update inventory count and maintain inventory records in the SAP System to share with management and other stakeholders in the business. He/She must report discrepancies in inventory such as too little inventory at last count.
NATURE AND SCOPE
A. Report Relationship – This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
B. General Department Overview – The incumbent is responsible for co-ordinating and communicating with Production, QC and QA to fulfill production requirements.
C. Area of Responsibility–
- Co-ordinate with warehouse team for movement of all materials and distribution purposes.
- Data Entry of all inventories.
- Track and update inventory movement in SAP daily.
- Maintain records of all activities and processes in the warehouse.
D. Challenges of Position– This position requires an outward and positive personality and the ability to communicate with other department staff.
E. Communication Network – The incumbent is required to communicate with internal staff and external parties.
F. Measurement - The incumbent will be measured on accuracy of data entry in the SAP system.
G. Requirements –
- GCE ‘O’ Level.
- One year working experience in logistics environment.
- Hands-on experience on SAP or other related ERP and warehouse management system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word
- Accurate and meticulous in work.
