Vice President - Information Technology & Digital Transformation, Asia Pacific

Job Purpose:

As the Vice President of Information Technology & Digital Transformation for the APAC Region, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our information technology and digital strategy. This position combines leadership in traditional IT functions with a focus on driving digital transformation initiatives to optimize business processes and enhance the overall technological landscape. This role is key for driving the IT agenda for the APAC region in alignment with global strategy, roadmap, standards, and processes.


Key Responsibilities:


Leadership and Strategy

  • Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of the IT and Digital Transformation roadmap for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with the global strategy.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align technology strategies with business objectives globally and regionally.

Global Alignment and Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with global IT team to ensure alignment with global standards, processes, and strategies.
  • Participate in global IT initiatives, providing insights and contributions from the APAC perspective.

Digital Transformation

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, identify new automation opportunities, enhance customer experience, and deliver operational efficiencies.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and digital adoption within the organization.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to realize and measure the benefits of digital transformation initiatives, continually refining strategies based on feedback and performance metrics.

IT Infrastructure Management

  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring the availability, security, and scalability of systems and networks in line with global standards.
  • Drive best in class capabilities and performance for Network, Telecom, Hosting, Collaboration, Desktop and other Infrastructure Services.

Customer Integrations

  • Collaborate with business partners and customers to integrate IT systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability with JAS systems.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance automation and adoption of customer-facing digital solutions and integrations.

Business Solutions

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their operational needs and deliver IT solutions that align with business objectives. Advocate APAC requirements and needs for global solutions.
  • Drive the implementation, and management of approved local solutions.

IT Support

  • Oversee the IT support function, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, adhering to global support standards.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members.

Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party partners to evaluate and select technology solutions that align with global and regional business goals.
  • Negotiate and manage local vendor contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Cybersecurity and Compliance

  • Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's information assets, adhering to global security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards globally and locally.

Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the IT budget for the APAC region, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support global and regional business objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand their technology needs and align IT initiatives globally and regionally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 10+ years in an IT leadership role, with a track record of successfully managing complex IT environments and delivering IT transformation initiatives, working effectively in a global environment.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Infrastructure, Support, Security, Business & Customer Projects Delivery, SDLC, Integrations, Process Automation, Stakeholder Management, Vendor Management & IT Budget Management required.
  • Innovation mindset, knowledge of emerging technologies, with the ability to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong results orientation, with ability to deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders globally and locally.
  • Certifications in IT Security, ITIL, and Project Management are a plus.
