About the job
Based in our Singapore office, your primary focus will be to actively pursue new business opportunities while ensuring existing customers continue to receive exceptional service and satisfaction with our solutions. You will be supported with Sales and Technical Support to manage the whole sales process. Since our customers and business partners are both local and global, you will be required to travel depending on the business needs.
Responsibilities
· Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and lead generation efforts
· Gain a deep understanding of potential customers' challenges and needs, and present tailored solutions based on our product offerings
· Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams
· Prepare proposals and pitch solutions to customers
· Provide business presentations and product demonstrations to customers
· Play an integral part in generating sales from existing and/ or new customers
· Participate in industry events and networking sessions representing the company
· Collaborate closely with Sales and Technical Support teams to navigate the sales process efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of proven success in a sales position
· Experience within the maritime industry or relevant sales skills are strongly preferred
· Bachelor's degree in Business or Diploma in Maritime Studies
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate to advanced level
· Exceptional communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong organizational abilities are essential
Note: Prior experience or knowledge within the maritime industry is mandatory and highly advantageous for this role
