The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
Qualifications
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product strategy, providing actionable insights to leadership.
- Own full components of product analytics (headroom, customer segmentation, key success metrics) with limited guidance, ensuring insights are delivered on time and meet defined goals. Be able to answer questions with a short turnaround time.
- Develop and deliver compelling reports and presentations that communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and proactively solve problems within a given scope. Demonstrate creative thinking and propose innovative solutions.
- Build partnerships across diverse teams (local, regional and global), embodying a One Google mindset to achieve shared objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in strategy consulting, business analysis, product strategy, or similar roles.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, manage projects effectively, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Knowledge of product development principles, market dynamics, and the key elements of effective organizations.
- Exceptional data analysis skills, proficiency with data visualization tools, and the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
