The Role: As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the cleaning services provided to our hotel clients. You will oversee a diverse team of 20 staff members, ensuring efficient shift coordination and top-quality cleaning standards. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, efficiency, and safety, ensuring that our services exceed the expectations of our clients and their guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate a team of 20 cleaning staff across different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Oversee the use of cleaning machinery, including single disc machines, ride-on scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned properties.
- Develop and execute effective cleaning schedules and routines that maximize efficiency and meet client needs.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on the latest cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for hotel management, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns related to cleaning services.
- Continuously seek ways to improve operations and enhance service quality.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel cleaning or a similar field.
- Proven experience managing and leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and machinery operation, including single disc machines, ride-on scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining stringent cleanliness standards.
