We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to oversee our operations and lead our team towards achieving operational excellence.


The Role: As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the cleaning services provided to our hotel clients. You will oversee a diverse team of 20 staff members, ensuring efficient shift coordination and top-quality cleaning standards. Your leadership will foster a culture of excellence, efficiency, and safety, ensuring that our services exceed the expectations of our clients and their guests.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate a team of 20 cleaning staff across different shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Oversee the use of cleaning machinery, including single disc machines, ride-on scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all assigned properties.
  • Develop and execute effective cleaning schedules and routines that maximize efficiency and meet client needs.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for staff on the latest cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hotel management, addressing and resolving any issues or concerns related to cleaning services.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve operations and enhance service quality.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in hotel cleaning or a similar field.
  • Proven experience managing and leading a team.
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and machinery operation, including single disc machines, ride-on scrubbers, and carpet extraction machines.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work on a rotating shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining stringent cleanliness standards.
