Shipping Admin Officer

Lotus Fine Arts Logistics (s) Pte. Ltd.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing and coordinating all import and export processes for both sea and air shipments.
  • Provide administrative support for the preparation of shipping documentation.
  • Liaise and coordinate with various parties, including import and export operations, carriers, customers, and suppliers.
  • Handle sales inquiries and confirmations. Assist in preparing quotations, processing customer orders, and invoicing customers.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on shipment issues, attend to customer queries, feedback, and complaints, and respond promptly, providing solutions where needed.
  • Perform data entry work to ensure the accuracy of the shipment information captured in the in-house system and maintain a proper job filing system for invoices and documents based on projects.
  • Support the department with general administrative duties.
  • Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Diploma in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in planning, coordinating, and freight forwarding process.
  • Meticulous and experienced in handling different types of permit declarations.
  • A good understanding of both sea and air freight regulations.
  • Enjoys working in a team and requires minimal supervision at work.
  • Able to start work on short notice.
