Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and coordinating all import and export processes for both sea and air shipments.
- Provide administrative support for the preparation of shipping documentation.
- Liaise and coordinate with various parties, including import and export operations, carriers, customers, and suppliers.
- Handle sales inquiries and confirmations. Assist in preparing quotations, processing customer orders, and invoicing customers.
- Liaise with internal and external parties on shipment issues, attend to customer queries, feedback, and complaints, and respond promptly, providing solutions where needed.
- Perform data entry work to ensure the accuracy of the shipment information captured in the in-house system and maintain a proper job filing system for invoices and documents based on projects.
- Support the department with general administrative duties.
- Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of a Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience in planning, coordinating, and freight forwarding process.
- Meticulous and experienced in handling different types of permit declarations.
- A good understanding of both sea and air freight regulations.
- Enjoys working in a team and requires minimal supervision at work.
- Able to start work on short notice.
