Job Scope:
- Keep abreast with developments of new products in the market.
- Make recommendations to R&D/QA Manager on new products
- Develop new product formulation
- Conduct R&D trials to produce samples for evaluations
- Technical evaluation of new raw materials (nuts, ingredients etc.)
- Responsible for laboratory routine house-keeping program (5’S)
- Review relevant Food Regulations to ensure regulatory compliance
- Sourcing for food ingredients and work closely with them if needed
- Develop new product packaging including bar code setting, product label
- Continuously improve existing products and processes
- Contribute to Customer Complaints Product Quality Issue (Investigation & report preparation)
- Update ISO/HACCP documents when changes occur
- Check and ensure product label/sticker in compliance to customer and/or government or export country regulations
- Do other task assigned by superior.
Requirement:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Food & Nutrition industry
- Able to apply food technology knowledge to formulate new products with minimal supervision or guidance
- Skilled in sourcing for food ingredients
- Skilled in R&D project management
- Able to think creatively and passionate about new ideas
- ISO, HACCP, BRC, HALAL certification related knowledge
