Financial Analyst
Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our client's team in their shipping finance department.
The Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and providing insights and recommendations to management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support decision-making
- Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to management
- Analyze and interpret financial data and trends
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to optimize financial performance
- Monitor and analyze market and industry trends
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business initiatives
- Provide financial insights for strategic planning and investment decisions
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in financial analysis or related role ( Open for those with accounting education but does not have experience and is willing to learn)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in financial modeling and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements
