Job Responsibilities: -
- To perform duties in accordance to the Code of Practice on Workplace Safety, Health & Environmental aspect,
- To attend to all Safety Meeting at site,
- Execute and reinforce the Safety Management System on site,
- Daily liaison, advice and assist to Operation Team on WSHE aspect,
- Assist in setting out and maintain of temporary safety features on site,
- To conduct physical check to all safety devices of the machineries and electrical tools being deployed to site, includes the validity of the maintenance,
- Assist Safety Officer in formulating the Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedure,
- To conduct periodic check and reinforce all Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedure compliances on site,
- Report to Safety Officer on any irregularity and infringement to all WSHE Acts, requirements, safety rules and regulation at site,
- To assist in investigations and prepare report on WSHE infringement and or industrial accidents/incident,
- Assist Safety Officer in liaison with other relevant authorities on all WSH issues,
- Assist in Safety Training, Promotion etc. safety awareness programme,
- To compile safety records of statutory equipment, accident record, worker training record,
- Assist in any other duties as dedicated by the Safety Officer on WSHE aspect,
Requirements
- Candidates must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NiTEC, DIPLOMA in Engineering (Enviromental/Health/Safety) or equivalent
- Professional Certificate MOM approved safety Coordiator
- Preferable specializing in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety)
