Responsibilities
- Track, monitor and analyze utilities consumption and plan for facilities capacity upsize with respect with scenario ramp.
- Carry out system capacity study to meet Manufacturing requirement
- Able to evaluate and supervise Mechanical modification or enhancement projects.
- Supervise improvement/upgrading/new projects for mechanical system and able to work with and lead respective contractors to complete mechanical jobs effectively to ensure maximum uptime and reliability of the Mechanical systems.
- Able to work with cross functional team effectively in driving projects or troubleshooting.
- Review work procedures and highlight activities which may cause interruptions.
- Provide technical support to Operations and Maintenance team in solving complex mechanical and water systems issues.
- Perform troubleshooting and rectification work independently, applying basic theories and principles to prevent repeat and interruptions.
- Basic understanding of relevant building and mechanical regulatory standards/codes.
- Be aware of and perform all work in accordance with company safety guidelines. Good communication and collaboration within Facilities Sections and with all customers throughout the organization
Requirements
- Understanding of Mechanical system design in Semiconductor industry including its associated equipment’s working principles (e.g. HVAC, exhaust systems, scrubbers, process cooling water, chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, fans, etc) is preferred.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related field of study
- Minimum 3 year experience in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design and construction of Semiconductor Mechanical Systems
- Ability to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently
- Good organizational skills and willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills and good team working skills
- Self-motivated worker
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and facilities systems
- Strong ability in English speaking and writing
