EV-Electric (EVe) Charging Pte Ltd is a subsidiary of the Land Transport Authority of Singapore (LTA), which coordinates the national effort to undertake the electrical infrastructure upgrades and deployment of electric vehicles charging points (EVCPs) primarily in Singapore’s residential carparks.
As a Deputy Engineering Specialist, you will serve as an in-house expert on EV charging and other EV-related matters.
Job Responsibilities include but is not limited to the following:
· Maintain current on EV charging and related developments in the industry. You are to advise on EVe emerging trends (e.g. battery swapping, etc.) and how it can shift EVe operation strategy. Provide recommendations to developing mitigation measures (e.g. dynamic electrical load measuring and management, etc.) for implementation.
· Support and provide site assessment of potential costs to upgrade electrical infrastructure to support EV charger deployment.
· Develop tender specifications and requirements for electrical infrastructure upgrade.
· Provide specialist advice on potential electrical-related issues in the infrastructure upgrade proposal and recommend solutions to optimize upgrade projects on cost and time.
· Maintain compensation and performance management systems to retain quality manpower and exit poor performers.
Requirements
· Tertiary education in Electrical Engineering with exceptional academic credentials and at least 3 years of relevant work experience. Candidates should demonstrate an intent to work towards obtaining Professional Engineer certification.
· Competent in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) matters and able to comply with the Project Management duties under the WSH Act and the supplementary regulations.
· CSCPM certification (Construction Safety Course for Project Managers ) or equivalent will be an advantage
· Conscientious, diligent, and determined attitude
· Self-starter and keen learner with an interest in EV charging and related technologies.
· Ability to build and maintain a positive relationship with various stakeholders.
· Good command of both written and spoken English language.
· Computer literacy in Microsoft Office software
