Job Description
- Understand the design and concept outlined in the interior design (ID) drawings.
- Participate in pre-project activities such as estimating project budgets, preparing project timelines, identifying resource requirements, and arranging materials or subcontractors.
- Collaborate with designers, subcontractors, and customers.
- Engage in technical discussions with the production team.
- Monitor the production timeframe, both on-site and off-site.
- Assist the director in coordinating and overseeing subcontractor activities on site.
- Conduct occasional site visits.
- Conduct pre-handover inspections with the team, clients, and building management.
- Work closely with the design team to develop schedules and assign individual responsibilities.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure defects are identified before and after each renovation work, and arrange for timely rectification.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in interior design, construction project management, or related fields.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (required for communicating with subcontractors regarding project matters).
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage one's time effectively.
