Job Title: SWIFT Consultant
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Maintenance and support of critical SWIFT payments applications.
· Provide full lifecycle support to clients from initial client interaction and requirements analysis through design, testing, debugging, implementation, and integration.
· Provide ongoing application enhancement, support, and troubleshooting.
· Customize products to satisfy client requirements, including changes in existing codes for adding new functionalities.
· Engage in client meetings, understand client problems, and solve them immediately.
· Support and Maintenance of Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH), SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SwiftNet Link (SNL), and hardware Security Module (HSM).
· Troubleshoot messages and process user messages.
· Work on monthly maintenance changes and update the SWIFT system with security patches and annual upgrades.
· Engage in Implementation of Standard Release (SR) projects each year.
· Help users/clients in SR Projects.
· Onboard client back office applications with SWIFT interfaces.
· Address BAU user queries on the status of the message and NACK reason, and other issues related to SWIFT format.
· Engage with documentation and generation of MTTM for each incident.
· Set up communication channels (WebSphere MQ), create MQHA message partners, define routing rules, and keywords to facilitate movement of messages through proper authenticated process.
· Have working knowledge of Change Management and Incident Management tools like BMC Remedy.
Project Management Skills:
· Actively participate in priority incidents, change requests, and disaster recovery management.
· Use JIRA and Confluence efficiently for each project.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in supporting SWIFT systems.
· Experience in full lifecycle support of SWIFT applications.
· Strong understanding of Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH), SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA), SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG), SwiftNet Link (SNL), and hardware Security Module (HSM).
· Experience in customization of SWIFT products to meet client requirements.
· Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
· Knowledge of Change Management and Incident Management tools like BMC Remedy.
· Strong project management skills with experience in using JIRA and Confluence.
