SOC Analyst - Security Operations: 5+ Years Experience
How you'll impact our client's security posture:
- Monitoring security events from various sources (tools, logs, threat intelligence, etc)
- Incident repsonse, investigation and assessment
- Threat hunting
- Vulnerability Assessment & Analysis
- Log, Traffic and Malware Analysis
- Apply, develop and maintain security playbook
- Implement incident response plans and security projects across cross-functional departments
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure internal compliance with enterprise regulations
What you'll bring to the table:
- 5 years of experience in cybersecurity
- At least 3 years experience in a SOC / SecOps role
- Hands-on abilities with IDS / IPS, EDR, SIEM, Firewall tools.
- Hands-on abilities with log analysis, malware analysis, network traffic analysis.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
What will make you stand out:
- CISSP, CISA, CIW certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Programming ability
- Pentest / Red Teaming ability
