Key Responsibility
The Industry Manager is responsible for local development of the Light Industries that comprise of Life Sciences, Food & Beverage (F&B) and Semiconductor (Semicon) sectors. This role needs to steer the development of the different industries plan and actions out of the global industry strategic paper in the country in line with the local opportunities and needs. Provide strategic directions and define the Go-To-Market strategy and act in conjunction with local and global stakeholders.
This role will be based in Singapore, is part of the Marketing Department and reports to the Marketing Manager.
The main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Deployment of the portfolio offering in the Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries.
- Gathers and acts upon local marketing intelligence for Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries.
- Understand and consider the local market needs, opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape, provide deep market insight, for the Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries for the Singapore market.
- Coach and develop the Sales, Project, Service teams, and partners to meet the needs of the Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries.
- Ensure strategic alignment of the local organization with the group strategy.
- Responsible for the implementation and communication of the strategic plans in conjunction with the local key stakeholders
- To work with respective stakeholders to grow E+H business in Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries.
- To work closely with External Sales in a team approach to serving the customers.
- Any other tasks might be required by the Company to support the business strategy.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Marketing or relevant studies
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences, F&B and Semiconductor industries.
- Strong knowledge of relevant products and industries
- Technical knowledge of process automation and instrumentation
- Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce will be an advantage
- Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
