Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and overhaul on 2-stroke engines and related ancillary equipment’s (Servo Oil pumps, Starting shut off valve, Fuel oil pumps etc) on site shipyard or anchorage.
- Perform technical advisory/ pre docking inspection on vessel before dry dock work commencement Perform technical audit / inspection (Piston underside and related components) to evaluate engine’s performance.
- On-site team leading and managing of the assigned team / technicians and related activities during work execution.
- Interact with customers (Shipowner, Tech Superintendent, Chief Engineer) during the work execution.
- Ensure that the work is executed according to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines and customer site procedures.
- Attend to vessel to carry out services such as health check, maintenance, overhaul & installation job offshore or shipyard
Requirements:
- Min Nitec in Marine Engineering or Equivalent
- Experience in Marine/Vessel/Shipyard
- Familiar with overhauling
