Position Overview:
The Assistant to CEO (Investor Relations) will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of a promising start-up, whose proprietary technology is industry-leading in the solar energy industry.
This role requires a highly organized individual with exceptional communication skills and a strong execution ability. The ideal candidate is proactive, business savvy, and capable of building strong relationship with different stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the company founder (CEO) to support the daily operations of the start-up in key business aspects, including investor relations, finance reporting, and operations.
- Collaborate with the founder to develop and maintain investor relations materials, such as presentations, scripts, and FAQs.
- Act as a point of contact for investor inquiries and coordinate responses with relevant departments.
- Attend investor meetings and events, take notes, and provide support as needed.
- Assist in coordinating investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
- Analyse financial data, market trends, and analyst reports to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Assist in preparing and distributing quarterly and annual financial reports, earnings releases, and other investor communications.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to investor relations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- May take up new responsibilities assigned by the founder when the need arises
Qualifications:
- Background in finance / accounting / business administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of working experience, with substantial experience gained in finance or investment related roles.
- Familiarity with financial markets and ability to prepare business model analysis reports is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese in order to liaise with stakeholders in Singapore and China, even globally.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and ability to resolve difficult situations tactfully.
- Professional demeanour and strong interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
