- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Design strategy and set goals for growth
- Development and implementation of the long-term strategic plan
- Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
- Set policies,processes and procedure for the business
- Identify training development needs as a whole for the business
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee turnover, business loss to competitor)
- Provide performance report to board
- R&D new product development
- oversees new product transfers, qualifications and mass production
skills and experience required
- Master / Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification
- Minimum 15 years of working experience in R&D manufacturing environment (industrial automation)
- High volume manufacturing environment will be a plus
- PMP & Six sigma certified will be a plus
- Strong experience in cost saving / industry 4.0 transformation / digitalisation project
- Manage core team consists of R&D / product management / supply chain / HR / Manufacturing operations
