Incumbent will be involved in end-to-end HR Operations duties including but not limited to:


Employee Life Cycle, On-boarding, and Off-boarding

  • Follow through the pre-employment background checks and on-boarding processes (e.g. Issuance of Employment letters, completing relevant on-boarding documents, creation of Employee ID, and notify Hiring Managers, Admin, IT and other departments where appropriate)
  • Ensure new hire is notified on job description, annual performance plan and mandatory learning within the first month of joining
  • Creation of new P-files & maintenance of existing P-files in timely manner
  • Process invoices received; assign cost centre, send for approval and to Payment team for processing
  • Respond to queries from Employees on HR related matters
  • Act as the key liaison with vendor for employment pass related matters
  • Ensure proper off-boarding with Leaver/Resignee
  • Manage tickets routed to HR Shared Services team via Case Management System

Payroll Operations

  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy in processing Singapore employee salaries, benefits and CPF payment
  • Creation of new hires profile and maintaining employees profiles, allowances, claims in Timesoft system
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of local tax reporting for employees
  • Liaise with E&Y tax consultant on all tax related matter for expatriates and transferees to ensure timely submission on their tax returns to local tax authorities
  • Responsible for monthly HR accrual entries and submit Government grants/claims

Risk and Controls Administration

  • Keeping abreast of the latest regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with local Compliance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including submission of accreditations to MAS of SFA/FAA Representatives and monitoring the completion of the CMFAS exams of the Representatives in connection with the licensing pre-requisites.

Requirements:

  • Min. a Diploma/Degree qualification with at least 5-8 years of HR Operations experience in the Banking industry
  • Well-equipped with good knowledge on HR policies and processes in order to respond effectively to enquiries
  • Good organization skills to deal with multiple demands and changing priorities
